| Description: | Since egg water loss is crucial to the success of Ostrich egg incubation, I started setting up spreadsheets to manage water loss data within the hatchery. The ExcelŽ spreadsheet was designed to monitor & document the water lossand project what the water loss would be after 42 days incubation, so that changes can be made early in the incubation process.
The spreadsheet is used as a template. Enter date and egg weight data and the average daily water loss and 42 day weight loss % are automatically calculated. Instructions for use are maintained on the second sheet with the tab HowTo. The current seasons data is saved under another name, maintaining the template for further use. |
